Mail Bags

S G Baker are exclusive suppliers to the Royal Mail of 100% of their mailbag requirements. We also supply several other international mail organisations.

To give the mailbags, also known as mailsacks, a long life they are manufactured from tough and durable woven polypropylene fabric that has been specially developed to achieve specific performance criteria including fabric tensile strength and hook pull out strength.

SGB Mailbags are sewn using two rows of lockstitch this prevents the hem from unravelling should it be damaged in use.

SGB Mailbags can be printed to your requirements subject to a minimum order quantity of 5,000 bags. Please contact us with details of your requirements.

SGB Mailbags have an innovative system of 4 hooks evenly spaced around the mouth. The top photograph shows the bag hung in the frame. The second photograph shows the tongue that grips the hook to help prevent accidental slipping off whilst still allowing easy removal.

Standard colours are blue, green, red or transparent. The coloured bags are ideal for separating different types of mail and the transparent bag allows easy checking to ensure that all the mail has been removed. Please contact us with details of your requirements.
