About Us

Our company was established in Scotland in 1955 originally as a supplier of hessian sacks serving the potato growing industry. Several acquisitions and diversification in Scotland have broadened the customer base to all sectors of industrial and agricultural packaging.

In April 2005, SG Baker acquired John Lee (Sacks) Ltd, a long established packaging company based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This site has been substantially expanded and upgraded and compliments our Angus, Scotland facilities to service the UK market using our own transport fleet.

The acquisition brought together over 100 years of packaging experience and has enabled the combined company to offer an even more extensive range of top quality packaging products combined with excellent customer service

A financially strong company with ISO 9001 certified quality systems, our philosophy is to work with customers and using our skill base, develop bespoke solutions to their packaging requirements.
